Not often will you find me talking about CMS development, APIs, mashups or any other shit like that, because I’m a moron. On top of that fact, I don’t really know enough about building them to pretend I have any type of expertise in the matter, all I know is it works. Today though, I my travels around the intertubes, I can across what is probably the single greatest plugin for wordpress ever created, Douche Bag.

No not you, the plugin is named Douche Bag, unless you are and in that case I am referring to you.

Most people are nice in person. For some reason, when they have a monitor hiding their face, a few of them act like douchebags. We love the community here and are glad that we don’t have any of these DBs. But when you go popular on certain social bookmarking sites, they seem to arise.

So we created a tool just for those rare instances. It’s a simple and straight forward plugin for Wordpress, called Douche Bag.

When you add the tag to the beginning of a comment, our plugin will automatically insert the Douche Bag.

Here is an example of what marking a douche accordingly looks like.

The douche bag image is inter changeable to whatever you deem a more fitting image, which i think is a great addition to an already gem of a plugin. So anyone using wordpress, I would HIGHLY advise you install this plugin, regardless of if you you think you may or may not use it. Hopefully, with any luck, the wordpress guys will integrate this as a standard feature in the next release ;D

…since we are talking about douche bags, I figured I should throw this one in.

Ok first off, yes it is monday, and this IS sorta a music related post, but its not officially going to be a music monday post. Don’t question me, its cause I say so, so there . Anyway, I am an avid fan of turntablelist/super producer, RJD2, all of the videos from his past albums have been perfect in capturing the emotion of the song or conveying the overall idea. So for the song “Work It Out” of of RJ’s latest work, “The Third Hand”, the tradition continues. Together with Bill Shannon, they shoot what I can only call, a marvel of man’s will to adapt to a situation, in one take. Now I’m sure you’re saying, “I’ve seen plenty of videos shot in one take, whats so special about this one?”, well I’m glad you asked. Aside from it being a great song to begin with, lets get a brief synopsis of Mr. Shannon.

…Bill Shannon who was born with a degenerative hip condition. His legs cannot carry his own weight and so he has lived a life on crutches. He has developed a new way of moving through life on his skateboard and the crutches. Though this may look like a recreational hobby or a debilitation, it is simply how Bill maneuvers throughout the day.

That being said, lets move onto the video itself.

Now if there is anything that can be gained from this video, its a bit of inspiration. Make the best of your situation, no matter how bad you think it might be, you can’t let stuff get in the way of what you want to do in life. I commend RJ and Bill on a great video, and look forward to future things from both of them.

Yes you are reading that quote correctly. This elderly Indian guy is still tappin ass at 90!? Don’t believe it? I didn’t either until i read the article over at daily mail. Most guys at that age, are more concerned about being able to get to the bathroom so they don’t piss themselves. I mean how he hasn’t broken his hip yet is beyond my comprehension, but maybe thats part of his secret. This is probably a perfect testament to the fact that american’s diet and life style is horrible. We a pumped full of so many chemicals, fats, and steroids that our bodies deteriorate pretty fast. *end health nut rant*
