I know you’ve noticed crap changing, disappearing and reappearing, and are wondering wtf is going on. Well When I launched this design back whenever, it wasn’t complete, but I hated looking at kubrick, so I tossed together as much of the theme as I could do in a day, and sent it out the door. Recently I decided to finally finish this shit up so I can work on side projects^1. and another theme for nicole. On top of that, the release of Wordpress 2.3 is right around the corner, so I needed to set up a couple things so I could take advantage of new functionality without any downtime.

I am by no means done, but i should be by the end of the week, thank god. So far this thing hasn’t broken on any browsers I’ve tested^2. , but if anyone see something fucked up or broken on the PC versions or in another browser, please let me know. Also, if you have any suggestions, fixes, tweaks, plugins, etc. that I should use/try out, you can drop me a line as well.

If you watched the MTV music awards this past weekend, then I know you are definitely starved for music, so here we have another music monday, but this time with a theme. For this monday and the next couple, I’m going to focus on specific artist, that I think everyone should be checking out. So lets get started with this weeks artist, Justice.

Justice are a French electro house duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Most would say at the they are one of the hottest acts in the Electro scene, often drawing comparison to Daft Punk. Justice exploded into the spotlight with their 2003 remix of Simian’s track “Never Be Alone,” created for a Paris college radio station’s remix contest. The remix resulted in the group being signed to Ed Banger and became a hit in clubs and on the internet, eventually getting a commercial release in the summer of 2006 in the UK.

That same year they won the award for Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2006, for Justice vs. Simian - “We Are Your Friends”. Auge and de Rosnay were not present at the ceremony, and the award was accepted by label art director So_Me and video director Jérémie Rozan. So_Me was famously interrupted mid-speech by Kanye West, who went onto the stage arguing that he should have won the award instead. Sad indeed.

This year Justice released their first full length album title “†” or cross for those who may or may not be able to see that character, after their trademark lighted cross that appears at every performance of theirs. Enough with the history lesson, lets get on to some music.^1.

A week or so ago, a bunch of major gadget sites revealed a little device from Sony, called the Rolly. Now right now, no one know wtf this thing does, or any kind of specs on it. The only aspect people are certain of, is that its a music related device. Sony themselves are keeping pretty tight lipped about it, and it seems it will take an act of god, or some kinda tortu…uhhh, polite persuading, to get them to talk.

On top of that, they have dropped some kinda teaser site for the Rolly that makes no goddamn sense at all. Unfortunately the site is in Japanese, so your out of luck unless you’ve been keeping up with your rosetta stone language lessons. In the upper corner of the site there seems to be something of a countdown timer, so I guess we have to wait and see what happens. Now one great thing that I will point out is the teaser video for it thats popped up on Youtube. 80% of the video doesn’t even contain the damn Rolly, but its still great.

Now I don’t know about you, but I have a weak spot in my wallet for electro music and neat gadgets that may or may not do something useful. I don’t know what the end results of this things will be, but I’m sure sold on it. Damn you Sony…
