why all the hate? web2.0 has given us many wonderful things, not limited to an expansion of good JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, big sexy candy button type graphics work and GMail..
i’m not denying the value of the “smartening up” of the internet, hell i don’t know what i’d do without gmail. i was just playing around with something and the thought came up in a moment of frustration. but on another note, while the 2.0 move has been a correct step for some, others are just using it to mask shitty product that didn’t work to begin with, and for every one successful website/app there are 60 other candy buttoned, big texted, ajax touting sites that are a waste.
