I case you don’t follow the rumor mill of movie news, Jurassic Park 4 is currently in the works. Unfortunately, by “in the works”, I mean the entire writing staff is on crack. Here is a small snippet of the report.

Universal Pictures has officially begun casting for Jurassic Park IV, which will film in Kauai, Hawaii later this year! Laura Dern confirmed her return to the franchise as Dr. Ellie Sattler here as Sam Neill will NOT return. We’re told that the film is about the government who has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes.

I’m just saying….WTF? Dinosaurs with guns strapped to them, really? Really makes me wonder if this picture popped up at some point during the initial brainstorming meetings.

Now there is also rumblings about Steve “save us jebus” speilberg, directing the film, but if this is to be the actual plot, there is only one person that can save this movie… Samuel L Jackson! wait, shit he was already in jurassic park 1, and they ate his ass. Oh well thats not for me to figure out, but his ass needs to be in the movie no doubt. Till then, say your prayers for this script so it doesn’t turn out to be the flop we all know is coming.

update: seems the rumored plot of dinos with guns was a hoax. I guess we can all let out a collective sigh of relief.
