iphone rape

So it seems that Stevus Christ1. has done it to iPhone owners again. Not even a month after telling early adopters that they’ve been cheated out of 200$, reports are out that next year they will be releasing a 3G version.

Back in June, having the iPhone run over the blazing 3G network was probably one of the biggest wish list items for future iPhone owners but instead they were treated to the decrepit 2.5G/EDGE network. Most early adopters decided to bite the bullet and buy the phone anyway, while other owners still gripe about being cheated to this day. For Apple to have released a 3G model this soon is basically a slap in the face, IMO.

Now as most of you may or may not know, I’m a strong opponent of the iPhone, and I could go on a huge rant with my one-sided views. But thanks to Trey Parker and Matt Stone, there is a better way for me to express what Stevus is doing to Apple fans with all this iPhone nonsense.

What happens after you buy an iPhone.

  1. Steve Jobs, Jebus Christ, come on that was obvious []

Why does this remind me of Hand Banana? “Tonight. You.”

Jobs’ comment states, “late next year”. That is the point to key in on. This could mean December 31st 2008 for all we know. Should I also be pissed that he also said that they planned out the next 3 versions of the iPhone? If it’s late next year it will be well over a year since the first iPhone dropped to the masses and that seems about right for a revision anyway.

On another note, that’s one of my favorite South Park episodes evah!

No I totally agree with you, there is nothing that can be done about the update of technology, but my problem is how soon this announcement was made. Of course we all knew it was coming but to have just gone through riots over one thing and to tell people almost right away that your phone is about to be useless is just kinda bad PR at least. I think such an announcement could have been saved for another time.
