badtofu logo, pretty huh?

From day one, of the original Xbox launch I knew I was a Sony fanboy, and would bludgeon myself to death with a dual shock controller before I even so much as played an Xbox. The Playstation was just the superior system, had all the games, graphics and all my friends had one too, so we could sit around for hours talking about our exploits in Metal Gear, or Gran Turismo, etc. Up until now, I always knew what side of the fence I stood on, that is until now.

halo 3

me vs halo

By the time I finish writing this post, the world will have been many hours into the launch of Halo 3. I’m sure you all now a handful of people that either stood in line at midnight to get a copy, pre ordered it, or are hunting franticly to get their or copy.

conclusion

I’m really anxious to dive into the epic world of Halo, and am probably going to lose ungodly amounts of time out of my life, as is usually the case with these new fangled games. But I have this one fear in the back of my mind about this foray into the Xbox 360 and halo…

can't finish the fight, red ring of death

The Red Ring of Doom (rrod) scares the shit out of me, and I know once it happens, which its seems to be unavoidable, I’m afraid my Xbox might find itself airborne out the window. I guess thats the risk though, can’t have fun without living on the edge (of sanity). So, I’m looking forward to getting in some rounds soon with interweb friends. Feel free to post your gamer tag in the comments and I’ll ad you once I’m up and running.
