People usually put a lot of effort and brain power into considering the future goals in their life. I… not so much. Usually I try and only set short term goals for myself, I mean realistically some are good to set, like eating better, dropping weight, etc., but my focus as well as attention span is usually short lived. So recently I thought that it would be a good idea to work on my social as well as business networking. Now being the introvert that I am, I set off to the interweb to do all the work for me. Scouring the list of 50 or so social sites I registered on, I realized that I created a linkedin profile some time ago. Perfect.

After a few four letter words, I recalled my password, and was in updating my profile and making a couple connections with friends/co-workers. Upon sending out my last connection request, I figured that I was forgetting people and started plugging names into the search box, then it happened. One of my few remaining braincells kicked into overdrive and told me to search for my name. In so I discovered a couple pages of guys named eric johnson, and in pretty spiffy positions, and then it clicked. My next goal in life is network with EVERY ericjohnson on linkedin. Yes you did indeed here me correct, and I know you’re saying to yourself “jebus eric you’re brilliant”, yes….yes I am.

With my army of eric johnsons in place around the world, we will unify and take over. Something tells me the emails that go out once we organize are gonna be pretty fucked up though, considering we all have the same damn name, but whatever. Just you wait.
