While many of you know that this is in fact breast cancer awareness month, many of you don’t know that it was started in 1992 by the founder of Estee Lauder, Evelyn Lauder, and Alexandra Penney, founder of Self magazine. To celebrate the 16th anniversary, they have teamed up with Medicom Toys to create a limited edition Bearbrick, which features the iconic pink ribbon on its body. The Bearbrick will go for ¥1,500 JPY (Approx. $14 USD) but as far as I can tell is only on sale in Japan through this site. I do have a few connections in Japan, so if anyone is interested in ordering one, please contact me asap, and I will see about getting you one.
