looks like just a regular watch tool does the trick, and the pins are spring loaded. should have read more closely for the “watch band tool” mention :)

This is great! I’ve had the same idea and picked up both the Easy Reader and a J. Crew strap/band. How do you remove the leather one without ruining it?
