So I’ve listened to this album back to front a couple times already, and it made me think that I should probably throw in my 2¢ about it. Now rap these days is pretty linear, and ‘Til the Casket Drops, is by no means an exception to the rule. Its so linear in fact, that I could make a flow chart to cover the contents of the entire album, instead I will do it with a bullet point list.
A few days ago, Nike CEO Mark Parker, as well as Bono and some of the world’s best soccer players, announced to the kick off of the “Lace Up. Save Lives” project. Nike and (RED) have teamed up to produce a of (RED) laces, which can be purchased from Nike online or at any Niketown for 4$ . All of the profits from the sales of the laces goes towards the Global Fund and to Nike’s youth-oriented football-based AIDS education programs in Africa. I’ve added a widget to my site that you can click on to learn more about the program, or just visit the Nike website for info. Definitely a worthy cause, and i’m glad to see Nike getting involved, probably gonna pick up a couple pairs myself just because.
Warriors of Radness, Gourmet, two companies I know very well, but never expected to do any type of collaboration, very happy to be wrong. The guys over at Culture Shoq, graced the internets with the first pics, of what will be a summer time staple shoe for me, the collabo Tre. Gray striped cotton canvas, with teal interior, should make this a very light weight, breathable shoe for the summer 2010. Price and release date have yet to surface yet, but keep your eyes trained on the Gourmet site and other retailers.
